This qualification from the British Institute of Innkeepers Awarding Body provides essential knowledge and understanding of the law and social responsibilities of alcohol retailers. It supports those who complete the qualification to act within the law and to retail alcohol responsibly on their licensed premises. It provides additional protection to licensed premises operators by ensuring that those staff who hold the qualification fully understand the legislation concerning under-age sales, serving persons who are drunk and the licensing objectives.
