This is the three day Health & Safety Executive approved training course held in Thurso. It provides the theoretical and practical training which will enable successful candidates to be first aiders in their workplaces. Candidates should be physically fit for the course. A copy of the latest edition of the “First Aid Manual” will be provided. Candidates must undertake the two day First Aid at Work Requalification course every three years to retain their certificate.

How do I join?

We operate a waiting list system for this type of course. To book a place on it, contact Admissions, The NHC-Thurso on 01847 889250 or info@northhighland.ac.uk. If a course is not scheduled to be held in the near future, we will hold your name on the list until we have sufficient to run the course.
