The NC Golf Studies is aimed at those interested in a career in the golf industry who have a keen interest in the sport in general. We aim to provide a broad range of subjects which cover all aspects of the golf world. These will give a basis from which candidates can progress onto several different paths including golf management, green-keeping, fitness, tourism, course architecture and professional golf.
The range of subjects allows for in-class academic learning alongside practical application of skills on the golf course and in the gym, as well as on multiple site experiences at a variety of golf facilities. A work placement unit is also incorporated within the course, providing students with the opportunity to experience the industry first hand before deciding which direction may be best to continue their learning.
Some of the subjects you could be studying include:
Golf: club procedures, rules and course preparation
Golf rules, handicapping and etiquette
