    The Internet and computing core certification program


    Course description

    IC3 - The Internet and Computing Core Certification program is an ideal platform to begin learning about computer hardware, software, networks, and the Internet. Successful achievement will provide gateway to advancement in education, employment, other certification and home computing skills, providing proof of IT literacy.

    Students undertake 3 modules:-

    1. Computing Fundamentals - This module covers Computer Hardware, Computer Software and using an Operating System.

    2. Key Applications - This module covers common programs, word processing and spreadsheet functions.

    3. Living Online - This module covers networks and the Internet, Electronic Mail and using the Internet.

    IC3 is a globally recognised qualification endorsed by Microsoft as a stepping stone to Microsoft Office Specialist.
