This is a six hour course giving a qualification to food handlers which is nationally recognised by all sectors of the food industry. It will provide food handlers with a basic understanding of food hygiene. The certificate provides employees with the working knowledge required to ensure hygiene regulations are followed correctly.

- Food pests and their control
- Cleaning practices
- Hygiene and habits of food handlers
- Hygiene in the preparation, cooking and storage of food
