Available through the Centre for History, this course runs from September to December and is delivered by lecturers at the Centre for History and taught through a combination of online learning and video conference tutorials at your nearest UHI study site.
The main purpose of this module is to provide students with a broad-based, multi-disciplinary view of the Highlands and Islands, and, by applying basic methodologies from various disciplines such as hisitory, geography and geology, gain a greater understanding of the local area.
Assessment comprises one book review (1500 words) and one essay (2500 words).
Module fee is currently £157, although this may change by start of course.
