    Graham Parker and Craig Budge

First year apprentices Graham Parker and Craig Budge see great results in the Scottish Engineering Competition.

DSRL apprentices Graham and Craig attended the Scottish Engineering first year apprentice competition held at Peterhead and District Group Training Ltd.  The event is open to all colleges and training providers in Scotland.  Graham came third overall, beating candidates from some of the larger central belt and Aberdeenshire colleges.

The competition involved candidates competing two timed electrical and electornic circuits and a written theory test.

North Highland College lecturers Richard Hughes, Dennis Dunnett, and Stuart McBeath and DSRL Apprentice Training Manager Jim Swan are delighted with the students' achievements.
